There is a fully equipped kitchen including a washer/dryer combo, a full bathroom and American style shower, a working fireplace, central air, a large flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi, and a telephone with free calls to the US. The bedroom has a queensize bed with views of Notre Dame. The office is equipped with a mid century leather desk and a Canon printer. Both the bedroom and adjoining den are located on the mezzanine level, up a short flight of stairs. All rooms including the entry hallway and the bathroom have views of either the Seine or Notre Dame. Although the apartment is flooded with light, there are black-out blinds for a quiet and peaceful sleep. It is a magical place filled with a mix of mid-century and 19th century pieces accented by rugs and art collected from the auctions and markets of Paris and New York. A stone’s throw from the flat in this historic neighborhood is a choice of wonderful restaurants. It just doesn’t get any more central than in the middle of the Seine.
